DESCRIPTION
The 1-480585-0 is a 9-circuit matrix socket housing (plug) connector designed for wire-to-board power circuit applications in the 5.0 mm Power Key Connectors (5.0 PKC) family. This connector features a compact design with a mated height of 19.4 mm and operates with a 5.0 mm contact centerline spacing, making it suitable for high-density power distribution in home appliances, particularly gas appliances. The housing is constructed from UL94V-2 rated nylon in natural color and incorporates positive lock mechanisms with pre-tin duplex contact finish (.000030 in. minimum gold in mating area over .000050 in. minimum nickel underplate). The connector accepts double wire applications where individual insulation diameters do not exceed 0.115 inches (2.92 mm), and features protective walls surrounding locking levers to prevent wire tangling.
