DESCRIPTION
1-5209943-5 is a singlemode SC/UPC build-out attenuator designed for dual-window operation at 1310/1550 nm ±25 nm with a fixed attenuation value of 15 dB. The attenuator utilizes an all-fiber construction to absorb the optical signal while minimizing reflectance, attenuation tolerance, and polarization-dependent loss (PDL). It features excellent return loss with reflectance = -55 dB, operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +75°C, and exhibits vibration resistance of less than 0.1 times the attenuation value. The product is wavelength-independent and polarization-insensitive, making it suitable for power leveling in DWDM transmission systems, test and measurement applications, and power attenuation at the receiver.
