DESCRIPTION
The 1586861-2 is a VAL-U-LOK Glow Wire compatible plug housing connector featuring a dual-row, free-hanging configuration with 2 positions designed for household appliance applications. It is rated for 600 VAC with a maximum current of 9 A in 2-position applications and provides a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1500 VAC minimum and insulation resistance of 1000 megohms minimum. The connector operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C and features glow wire compatible housing material with brass or phosphor bronze contacts plated with tin (lead-free) or gold. Mechanical specifications include a mating force of 1.55 lb (6.90 N) maximum per circuit, unmating force of 0.11 lb (0.49 N) minimum per circuit, contact retention of 4.88 lb (21.71 N) minimum per contact, and a durability rating of 30 mating and unmating cycles.
