DESCRIPTION
1601706-1 is an AMP Multifitting Mark II connector designed for in-line mating technology in RAST 5 applications. This connector system features brass contacts with tin plating and supports wire sizes ranging from 0.35 mm² to 1.5 mm² depending on the configuration. The indirect mating connector system offers current carrying capacities up to 16 A and is designed to mate with 6.3 x 0.8 mm tabs. The housing material options include PA 6.6 and PA 6 with Glow Wire Test (GWT) compliance at 750°C according to IEC 60695-2-1/1. These connectors are commonly used in industrial and commercial applications requiring reliable wire-to-board or wire-to-wire connections with 5.0 mm centerline spacing.
