DESCRIPTION
1-601967-5 is a turret component designed for use with the AMP hand tool (Part No. 601967-1) to crimp high-current power contacts onto wire. This turret is specifically configured for socket contact assembly in the High Current Size 16 contact system, which features a 23 amp capability with a 30° T-Rise in free-air testing. The socket contact body is constructed from copper alloy with a silver finish, while the Louvertac band is beryllium copper with gold plating, and the retention spring is stainless steel.
