DESCRIPTION
1604897-5 is a 2-position panel mount Quadrax receptacle connector designed for high-speed data transmission in aerospace, defense, and marine applications. This connector features a rear release/rear remove (RR-RR) design and is compatible with seal retainer/backshell part number 2101752-2. The Quadrax contact system provides matched impedance for differential pairs used with quadraxial Ethernet and Fibre Channel cables, supporting applications such as Gigabit Ethernet (IEEE 802.3Z) and Fibre Channel X3T11. The connector includes jackpost and retention nut hardware (not installed) and utilizes 6-32 SPIRALOCK threads for secure mounting. It is ideal for harsh military and aerospace environments requiring reliable high-speed signal transmission with excellent shielding effectiveness.
