DESCRIPTION
1658670-5 is a pin contact designed for use with AMPLIMITE connectors, specifically engineered for 22–28 AWG wire applications. The contact features a brass material construction with a localized gold plate area measuring 0.155 inches minimum, supported by a nickel underplate (0.000050 inches minimum) and tin finish (0.000100 inches minimum) on the wire and insulation barrels. The contact dimensions include a 0.0300±0.0015 inch diameter specification with a 0.062 inch maximum diameter and 0.220 inch length, designed for both mini applicator and hand tool use.
