DESCRIPTION
170205-1 is a receptacle contact component for TE Connectivity's Economy Interconnection Series (EIS) connectors, engineered for reliable electrical connections in compact, high-density wiring applications. This contact is designed for wire sizes 30 to 26 AWG and features phosphor brass or phosphor bronze material options with pre-tinned or gold-over-bronze plating configurations. The contact integrates with standard crimp receptacle connectors (171822, 172486) and post headers for wire-to-board termination, supporting positions ranging from 2 to 12. Operating across a temperature range of -20°C to 95°C with a voltage rating of 250V, this contact delivers current ratings up to 5 amps depending on wire gauge.
