DESCRIPTION
173630-1 is a pre-tinned brass receptacle contact designed for use with MULTILOCK .070 series plug housings in automotive connector systems. This contact features brass construction with a pre-tin plated finish and is compatible with wire sizes ranging from 0.2–0.3 mm² (AWG 24–22) and wire insulation diameters of 1.4–1.9 mm. The contact is available in strip form and is designed with a protected contacting point for reliable electrical connections. It is commonly used in automotive wire-to-wire and wire-to-board applications including powertrain systems, safety and security systems, body and chassis systems, and driver information systems. All parts are RoHS and ELV compliant.
