DESCRIPTION

1757321-2 is an ARINC 600 press-fit contact designed for PCB attachment applications in aerospace, defense, and marine environments. This contact eliminates the need for soldering and enables up to 10% weight savings while maintaining backward compatibility. It features a high strength copper alloy base with various plating options, operates over a temperature range of -65°C to +125°C, and is rated for 500 mating cycles. The contact meets industry specification ARINC 600-19 and is designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions including vibration, shock, salt spray, and mixed flowing gas exposure. Common applications include avionics systems and other aerospace and defense electronics where reliable, lightweight PCB connections are critical.
