DESCRIPTION
M24308/4-2Z is a military-specification circular connector plug designed for reliable interconnection in demanding applications. The connector features a steel shell (per ASTM A 109) with zinc plating (minimum 0.0002 inches thick per ASTM-B-633) and yellow chromate finish for corrosion resistance. It utilizes size 22 pin contacts made from copper alloy with gold plating over nickel, and an insert assembly constructed from polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) or glass-filled polyester material. The connector mates with any receptacle connector having the same insert arrangement, making it suitable for military, aerospace, and industrial applications requiring robust and dependable connections.
