DESCRIPTION
1-796692-2 is a Euro Style terminal block connector designed for PCB mounting applications. This connector is part of TE Connectivity's Euro Style terminal block family, which features various wire termination methods including rising cage clamp, wire protector, spring, IDC, and crimp snap options. The design supports both one-piece board mount terminal blocks and two-piece plug connectors with mating headers. These connectors are stackable end-to-end without loss of centerline spacing when parts are without mounting flanges and headers are open ended. Common applications include industrial controls and general electronic equipment where reliable wire-to-board connections are required.
