DESCRIPTION
MSS625004 is an instrumentation-grade slide switch from the MSS Series manufactured by TE Connectivity/Alcoswitch, featuring a 6-pole, 2-throw (6P2T) configuration. The switch is available with either silver or gold contact plating to suit different electrical requirements. It operates over a temperature range of -20°C to +85°C (operating) and -40°C to +100°C (storage), with a contact rating of 300 mA at 125 VAC for silver contacts or 0.4 VA at 20 VDC for gold contacts. The switch exhibits an initial contact resistance of 0.30 milliohms maximum, insulation resistance of 1,000 megohms minimum, and supports up to 15,000 cycles of operation. This switch is commonly used in instrumentation, test equipment, and control applications where reliable switching and precise contact performance are essential.
