DESCRIPTION
207378-7 is a right-angle pin header connector designed for in-line applications within the AMP Metrimate pin and socket connector family. It features 6 positions with duplex gold plating (0.00076 mm gold on mating end, tin on termination end) and nickel underplating throughout the contact. The connector uses Contact Size 16 pins with a diameter of 0.062 inches (1.57 mm) and accommodates wire sizes from 18 to 16 AWG (0.8 to 1.4 mm²). The pin body is constructed from leaded brass or copper alloy for board mount applications, with a stainless steel retention spring and gold-plated louvertac band for reliable mating. This connector is ideal for applications requiring secure, right-angle board-to-wire connections in compact spaces, offering excellent electrical performance with a test current rating of 13 amperes and compatibility with standard Metrimate receptacle housings.
