DESCRIPTION

2-106506-2 is a right-angle subminiature D connector socket with 15 contact positions designed for European standard footprint mounting applications. The connector features a black glass-filled polyester housing rated UL 94V-0 for flame retardancy, with phosphor bronze contacts plated with 0.76 µm gold for reliable mating cycles exceeding 250 cycles. It supports a maximum current rating of 2.2 A per contact and maintains an insulation resistance of 5000 MO minimum with a dielectric strength of 1000 V AC. The connector operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and is available with multiple mounting options including 4-40 inserts, 4-40 screwlocks, and M3 inserts, with or without boardlocks for flexible PCB integration. This connector is ideal for industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and other applications requiring compact, reliable interconnections with European standard compliance.
