DESCRIPTION
The 2149027-1 is an external Mini-SAS HD 1x1 receptacle assembly designed for high-speed SAS applications in storage systems, rack-mount servers, workstations, and high-performance computing environments. This preassembled, one-piece interconnect supports SAS-2.1 at 6 Gb/s and SAS-3 at 12 Gb/s protocols, compliant with the SFF-8644 standard and capable of supporting PCIe Gen 3 applications. The receptacle features a broadband design with a 4x configuration, improved cable latch design, enhanced EMI skirt design, and is constructed with LCP receptacle housing, nickel silver shield assembly, and copper alloy contacts for robust performance. The assembly offers easy one-step PCB placement, REACH and RoHS compliance, and optional lightpipe configurations, making it ideal for space-constrained applications where reliable high-speed data connectivity is essential.
