DESCRIPTION
216000-2 is a 6-position toolless modular jack kit designed for discrete wire connections. It features 6 barrel terminals that accept one or two wires of the same size per terminal, supporting wire sizes from 0.12 mm² (26 AWG) to 0.35 mm² (22 AWG) with a maximum insulation diameter of 1.2 mm. The housing is constructed from PBT material rated UL 94HB in black color, while the barrel terminals are made of phosphor bronze with pre-tin plating and contacts feature selective gold plating over 1.25 µm nickel. For this variant, the dimension 15.2 is reduced to 14.6 mm. This modular jack kit is suitable for back panel or front panel mounting applications with a nominal panel thickness of 1.6 mm.
