DESCRIPTION

2170704-8 is a QSFP28/56 1x1 through bezel cage designed for high-speed data interconnect applications. This cage features EMI springs for superior electromagnetic interference suppression and supports data transfer rates of 28 Gbps NRZ and 56 Gbps PAM-4. The product includes heat sinks and supports NET, PCI, and SAN lightpipe applications. It is backwards compatible with QSFP+ cables and transceivers, providing a simple upgrade path from 10 Gbps to higher data rates. Common applications include network interfaces, switches, servers, routers, wireless base stations, and test and measurement equipment supporting 50, 100, and 200 Gigabit Ethernet as well as 100 Gbps InfiniBand EDR requirements.
