DESCRIPTION
2178148-1 is a CLOUDSPLITTER plug kit designed for use with TE unshielded cable assemblies, enabling combined Ethernet and DC power connectivity in a single cable solution. The kit is part of the CLOUDSPLITTER connector system that delivers Cat5e performance and up to 250 watts of power. The plug features a clear PC housing with copper alloy contacts finished with gold over nickel, and a copper alloy shield with tin over nickel finish. The system supports 8 signal positions and 2 power positions with electrical ratings of 1.5A/150VAC/DC for signal and 5A/50VDC for power. This plug kit is RoHS/REACH compliant and is commonly used in video surveillance, intelligent building management, factory automation, and wireless network transceiver applications.
