The TE500B220RJ is a high-power wire wound resistor from the TE Series, designed for heavy-duty industrial applications requiring stability and reliability. It features a mullite-coated tubular ceramic core with a corrugated ribbon element that enables rapid cooling and supports power ratings from 50W to 2500W. The resistor operates over a temperature range of -25°C to +225°C with a temperature coefficient of resistance within ±440ppm/°C, and demonstrates exceptional durability through 3x overload capability for 5 seconds and flameproof construction. Key electrical characteristics include insulation resistance exceeding 100MO at 500V DC, voltage withstand capability of 2500V AC for 1 minute, and tolerance of ±5% for resistance values from 1O to 2.7kO.
