DESCRIPTION

2-2170705-2 is a QSFP28/56 1x1 through-bezel cage designed for high-speed data interconnect applications. This cage features EMI springs for superior electromagnetic interference suppression and supports single, dual, and quad channel lightpipe implementations with NET, PCI, and SAN applied port options. The cage supports data transfer rates of 28 Gbps NRZ and 56 Gbps PAM-4 per channel, providing backwards compatibility with QSFP+ cables and transceivers. It is designed for use with the zQSFP+ SMT connector (1551920-2) and EMI Plug 1888810-2. Common applications include network interface cards, switches, servers, routers, wireless base stations, and test and measurement equipment supporting 50, 100, and 200 Gigabit Ethernet, 100 Gbps InfiniBand EDR, and 128G Fibre Channel protocols.
