DESCRIPTION

The 2221760-6 is a sealed AMPLIMITE D-subminiature receptacle connector from TE Connectivity designed for environmentally demanding applications requiring water and dust ingress protection to IP67 levels. This high-density Series 90 connector features Shell Size 6 with 104 contact positions and incorporates grommet sealing on the wire-entry end, interfacial seal on the mating face, and internal connector sealant to exceed IP67 performance standards. The connector has been tested and verified to maintain sealing integrity when submerged to 1 meter depth and uses Size 22 rear-release crimp contacts compatible with AS39029 QPL specifications. It is designed to meet MIL-DTL-24308 standards and is intermateable with standard D-subminiature connectors. This connector is ideal for military, aerospace, marine, and industrial applications where reliable sealed connections are critical in harsh, wet, or contaminated environments.
