DESCRIPTION
2289496-2 is a CFP4 1x4 cage assembly designed for high-speed pluggable I/O connector applications. This ganged cage assembly features four ports in a 1x4 matrix configuration and supports maximum data rates of 25 Gb/s, making it suitable for high-performance networking and data center environments. The assembly is constructed from aluminum alloy with nickel plating and measures 91.3 mm in width by 78 mm in length, with a recommended PCB thickness of 3 mm. It employs double-sided belly-to-belly PCB mounting with termination options for both press-fit and solder through-hole connections, and includes internal/external EMI springs for electromagnetic interference containment. The cage is heat sink compatible and complies with EU RoHS and ELV directives, making it ideal for enterprise-grade networking equipment, telecommunications infrastructure, and high-speed data transmission systems.
