DESCRIPTION

The 2-328975-3 is a pre-insulated ring tongue terminal with insulation-restricting design, part of the PIDG (Pre-Insulated DIAMOND GRIP) terminal family from TE Connectivity/AMP. The terminal features a copper body per ASTM B-152 with tin plating per ASTM B-545, and a nylon insulation rated for wire sizes ranging from 0.56 mm² to 130 mm². The metallic sleeve is constructed from copper per ASTM B-152 with nickel or tin plating per QQ-N-290 or ASTM B-545 respectively. This terminal is designed to meet Military Specification M7928/1 and M7929/1 Class requirements, ensuring reliable performance in demanding electrical applications. The product is commonly used in automotive, industrial, and military applications where secure, insulated wire terminations are required.
