DESCRIPTION
284844-3 is a sealed tab housing connector designed for the AMP MCP interconnection system used in automotive powertrain, safety, and convenience applications. This 12-position housing features PA 66 GF material construction and supports a wire size range of 4x 2.5 mm² FLR maximum and 8x 1.0 mm² FLR maximum, with keying option A and panel hook positioned on the right side. The housing is black in color and comes in package quantities of 500 units, with extraction tools (Part No. 539960-1 and 1-1579007-6) available depending on the contact type. It mates with receptacle housing 284848-3 and is designed to withstand high vibration levels while maintaining long-term reliability in demanding automotive environments.
