DESCRIPTION
2-87195-1 is a wire-applied locking clip contact for the AMPMODU interconnection system, engineered for reliable wire termination in modular connector applications. The contact is manufactured from copper-tin-lead bronze (Cu-Sn-Pb Bz) material with selective plating A (gold on contact area with nickel underplate), and accommodates 26-22 AWG wire sizes with insulation diameter range of 0.12-0.4 mm². The contact features a dimension A of 0.061 inches (1.55 mm) and a length of 0.445 inches (11.30 mm), providing secure crimp termination with a maximum termination resistance of 12 milliohms for gold-plated contacts. Self-retaining locking clip design enables quick connect and disconnect without additional locking hardware, while the contact's free-floating capability within 94V-0 rated glass-filled polyester housings ensures proper extraction and reliable performance in circuit grouping applications with modular end-to-end stacking configurations.
