DESCRIPTION
The 292254-6 is a 6-position panel-mount header connector from TE Connectivity's AMP CT connector series, designed for miniature wire-to-board interconnect applications. This connector operates at 125 V AC with a maximum operating current of 2.5 A at 26 AWG wire gauge, supporting discrete wire interconnect with a 2.0 mm pitch. The header features kinked legs for self-retention on printed circuit boards and is compatible with both Mass Terminated (MT) and crimp contact options (part numbers 173977, 179694, or 179228 with appropriate contacts). The connector is RoHS compliant and recognized by Underwriters Laboratories (UL file No. E28476) and Canadian Standards Association (CSA file No. LR 7189), making it suitable for business equipment, industrial machines, IoT devices, and consumer electronics where reliable signal and power routing is required.
