DESCRIPTION
338069-4 is a female-on-board surface mount device (SMD) connector with top entry and latches, part of the TE Connectivity Micro-Match modular connector system. This 4-position connector features tin-plated contact design and gas-tight connections that prevent fretting corrosion through a positioning spring mechanism in the female contact that absorbs relative movements caused by vibrations and thermal expansion. The connector supports wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnections with a contact spacing of 1.27 mm (0.050 inch centerline) and is compatible with 28 AWG ribbon cable (0.08–0.09 mm²). The product is supplied on vacuum pick-and-place tape in quantities of 900 units per reel, making it suitable for automated assembly in production and material handling equipment, control units, robots, motors, automotive systems, and consumer electronics applications.
