DESCRIPTION
353293-9 is a 9-position mass termination (MT) receptacle housing for the 1.5 mm pitch AMP Mini CT connector series, designed for wire-to-board interconnect applications. This housing accepts unstripped wire directly into preloaded IDC (insulation displacement) contacts, enabling rapid automated assembly without manual crimping. The connector supports AWG 26–28 wire gauges and operates at 50 V (AC/DC) with a rated current of 1 A at 28 AWG, making it suitable for low-voltage digital and signal applications. The MT housing mates with all standard AMP Mini CT headers and is widely used in business equipment, industrial machines, IoT/smart devices, and PC peripherals where harness productivity and compact design are essential.
