DESCRIPTION

The 4-794619-6 is a dual-row surface-mount header connector designed for the Micro MATE-N-LOK 3mm connector system, supporting 2-24 position configurations with a 3mm centerline spacing. This connector features surface-mount technology (SMT) compatibility with SMT hold-down provisions, plastic hold-down options, and metal hold-down support for robust board mounting. The header is compatible with contacts rated for wire sizes 22-18 AWG (0.3-0.9 mm²) and 20-24 AWG (0.2-0.5 mm²) with insulation diameters up to 2.79 mm, and supports a maximum current rating of 5 Amps per line at 250 Volts AC/DC. The connector includes retention features on the solder tail and is supplied in tape and reel packaging, making it ideal for automated assembly in wire-to-board applications requiring reliable, compact interconnections in consumer electronics, industrial equipment, and automotive systems.
