DESCRIPTION

The 499922-2 is a universal ejection pin header connector from TE Connectivity's AMP-LATCH product line, designed for ribbon cable interconnect applications. It features 14 positions with a 2.54 × 2.54 mm (0.100 × 0.100 in) centerline matrix, preloaded square contacts with gold plating (15 µin) in the mating area, and a 0.64 mm (0.025 in) post size. The connector includes long ejection latches with dual polarizing bar military-style mating alignment, a shrouded 4-sided housing made of thermoplastic with glass fiber reinforcement (UL 94V-0 rated), and solder tail termination posts of 2.79 mm (0.110 in) length with tin-lead plating. It is wave solder capable to 240°C, 260°C, and 265°C, and is 5 of 6 EU RoHS/ELV compliant. This connector is ideal for applications requiring reliable vertical PCB mounting with secure mating and ejection capabilities in standard profile configurations.
