DESCRIPTION
5-103634-1 is a shrouded latching header without hold feature designed for the AMPMODU Interconnection System with single-row, 0.100 inch [2.54 mm] centerline spacing. The header employs dual cantilever beam receptacle contacts with built-in anti-overstress protection and closed entry receptacle housings that provide lead-in ramps for positive mating. The housing is constructed from glass-filled thermoplastic rated 94V-0 with Plating C finish (0.000150–0.000300 inch matte tin on solder leads with 0.000050 inch nickel underplate). Built-in guides provide alignment before contact engagement, and the design includes board retention features for secure PCB mounting. This connector is ideal for applications requiring reliable, polarized connections in compact spaces, such as VLSI applications and general-purpose interconnection systems.
