DESCRIPTION
5-104935-2 is a shrouded latching header connector designed for single-row interconnection systems with a 0.100 inch (2.54 mm) centerline spacing. This 2-position header features a latching mechanism without hold functionality and is part of the AMPMODU Interconnection System Mod IV family. The connector housing is constructed from glass-filled thermoplastic rated 94V-0 and includes swaged retention tails at minimum two locations for secure PCB mounting. Contact plating options include duplex gold on contact areas with matte tin on solder areas and nickel underplate, ensuring reliable electrical performance and corrosion resistance. The header is suitable for applications requiring polarized, latching connections in compact, stackable configurations and is RoHS compliant.
