DESCRIPTION

5-160558-2 is an AMP Multifitting Mark II connector housing designed for indirect mating in-line connection applications with a 5.0 mm centerline. The connector features a polyamide (PA 6.6 or PA 6) housing material with natural standard color and UL 94 V-2 flammability rating. It supports wire sizes from 0.35–1.0 mm² with a maximum current carrying capacity of 10 A, operating over a temperature range of -40°C to +130°C. The connector system offers tin or silver plated brass/CuNi2Si contacts with insulation resistance greater than 10 MO and is approved by VDE and UL. These connectors are commonly used in industrial and commercial applications requiring reliable in-line electrical connections.
