DESCRIPTION
5206514-3 is an AMPLIMITE D-subminiature cable connector with integrated shielding hardware enclosure kit designed for reliable signal transmission in industrial, medical, and computing applications. The connector features a steel shell with tin plating, 94V-O rated thermoplastic insert, and PVC black enclosure with zinc alloy jackscrews for secure cable management. It accommodates recommended cable outer diameter ranges from 0.190 to 0.330 inches with a maximum inner cable bundle diameter of 0.330 inches, and includes phosphor bronze contacts with duplex plating (0.003250 inches gold on mating end and tin on termination end, nickel underplated). The kit is RoHS compliant and designed for intermateable operation with standard MIL-C-24308 D-subminiature connectors, making it suitable for industrial machinery, medical instrumentation, computers, RAID storage arrays, and telecommunications equipment.
