DESCRIPTION
521596-1 is an ultra-fast fully insulated FASTON receptacle designed for quick-connect applications with 22-18 AWG wire. The one-piece fully insulated premier line design helps prevent shock and short hazards while featuring a funnel wire entry and wire stop for correct lead-in and full mating with various tab styles including those with shoulders. The receptacle is constructed with a nylon type 6/6 housing (UL 94 V-0 flammability rating) and tin-plated brass terminal, with dimensions of 0.170 inches (4.32 mm) width, 0.295 inches (7.49 mm) height, and 0.485 inches (12.32 mm) depth. It accommodates mating tabs of 0.020 inches (0.51 mm) thickness and is rated for operation at +105°C, meeting UL-310 specification for quick connect terminals and UL listed under File No. E-66717. This terminal is ideal for applications requiring reliable insulated quick connections in automotive, appliance, and industrial equipment where safety and durability are essential.
