DESCRIPTION
521598-1 is an ultra-fast fully insulated FASTON receptacle terminal designed for secure wire termination in electrical assemblies. This .187 series receptacle accommodates 22-18 AWG wire with an insulation diameter range of 0.060–0.110 inches (1.52–2.79 mm) and features a mating tab thickness of 0.020 inches (0.51 mm). The terminal is constructed from tin-plated brass with a natural color finish and meets UL 94 V-2 flammability rating, providing excellent corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity. The one-piece fully insulated design prevents shock and short hazards while the funnel wire entry and wire stop ensure correct lead-in and secure positioning. This terminal is ideal for automotive, appliance, and industrial electrical applications where reliable quick-connect terminations are required.
