DESCRIPTION

53240-1 is a pre-insulated PLASTI-GRIP solderless locking fork terminal designed for secure wire-to-stud connections. This terminal accommodates 22-16 AWG (0.26-1.65 mm²) wire sizes and features a #6 (M3.5) stud size with a width of 0.234 inch (5.94 mm) and length of 0.811 inch (20.60 mm). The PVC insulation sleeve provides good dielectric strength and supports the wire insulation, while the funneled wire entry prevents turned back wire strands. Rated for 600V operating voltage and 105°C maximum operating temperature with UL/CSA approval, this terminal is ideal for panel boxes, motors, switchgear, power supplies, HVAC, and lighting applications.
