DESCRIPTION
The 556039-1 is a miniature ribbon IDC connector from the CHAMP Interconnection System designed for applications requiring reliable wire termination. This 50-position plug-style connector accommodates 22 AWG solid wire (0.64 mm) and 22 AWG 7-strand wire (0.40 mm²), with insulation diameters up to 0.056 inches (1.42 mm). The connector features F-slot contacts with a folded beam design that effectively handles large insulation diameter conductors, and operates on a 0.065 inch centerline spacing. The brown housing color dot designation aids in quick identification, and the connector is supplied without cover or cable.
