DESCRIPTION
5749210-7 is a 68-position cable receptacle connector from the AMPLIMITE .050 Series, designed for high-density D-subminiature interconnect applications. This connector features a compact .050 x .100 inch (1.27 x 2.54 mm) centerline grid spacing with gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts and assembled standard termination covers. The housing is made of thermoplastic rated 94V-0 with a steel shell plated bright tin over copper. It supports 28 AWG (0.08-0.09 mm²) or 30 AWG (0.05 mm²) wire with insulation diameter of .029-.036 inch (0.74-0.89 mm). This connector is ideal for data and device applications requiring reliable, high-density connections and requires a backshell kit for complete assembly.
