DESCRIPTION

5749609-1 is a shielded backshell kit with spring latches designed for use with 26-position AMPLIMITE .050 Series D-sub connectors. This backshell kit features an angled cable exit configuration and is packaged individually. The AMPLIMITE .050 Series connectors utilize a compact .050 x .100 inch (1.27 x 2.54 mm) grid spacing with gold plated tab and tuning fork contacts. The backshell kit is designed to provide cable strain relief and EMI shielding for cable plug and receptacle assemblies. It is commonly used in data and device applications requiring secure, shielded connections with quick-release spring latch mating hardware.
