DESCRIPTION

5786155-5 is a 50-position vertical receptacle header from the AMPLIMITE .050 Series, featuring Action Pin tails and latchblocks for secure board mounting. This high-density D-subminiature connector utilizes gold-plated tab and tuning fork contacts on a compact .050 x .100 inch (1.27 x 2.54 mm) grid spacing. The housing is made of thermoplastic rated 94V-0 in black and is SMT compatible, while the shell is steel plated with bright nickel over copper. Contacts are phosphor bronze with duplex plating featuring a minimum of .000030 inch (0.00076 mm) gold on the mating end and tin on the solder end, all nickel underplated. This connector is ideal for data and device applications requiring reliable, high-density interconnections in industrial and commercial electronic systems.
