DESCRIPTION
The 61233-1 is a socket contact designed for use in MATE-N-LOK wire-to-board connector systems. It is constructed from brass with pre-tin plating and features a pin diameter of 0.156 inches (3.96 mm) with a stock thickness of 0.018 inches (0.457 mm). The contact is rated for wire sizes 12–10 AWG (3.0–6.0 mm²) with an insulation diameter range up to 0.185 inches maximum. This socket contact is used in conjunction with pin contacts and housing assemblies to create complete connector systems for power and signal distribution in appliances and industrial equipment. The contact is applied using HDM applicator equipment (part numbers 687765-2 or 687765-3) and can be extracted with tool part number 691458-2, making it suitable for both manual and automated assembly processes.
