DESCRIPTION
6-338309-2 is a subminiature D-type connector plug without boardlocks designed for straight mounting applications with solder termination. This 9-way connector features 4-40 inserts and is constructed with a steel tin-plated front shell and black glass-filled polyester housing (UL 94V-0 rated). The connector utilizes phosphor bronze contacts with 0.76 µm gold plating on the contact area, delivering a maximum current rating of 6A and insulation resistance of 5000 MO minimum. With a dielectric strength of 1000V AC and operating temperature range of -55°C to +105°C, this connector is suitable for industrial control systems, instrumentation, and data acquisition applications requiring reliable signal transmission in demanding environments.
