DESCRIPTION
640901-3 is a 5-circuit socket header connector designed for wire-to-board power applications in the 5.0 mm Power Key Connectors (5.0 PKC) family. This connector features a duplex finish with gold plating in the mating area and matte tin on the solder tail end over nickel underplate, providing reliable electrical contact and corrosion resistance. The connector has a standard tail configuration suitable for 0.062 inch thick PCBs, with an A dimension of 1.300 inches (33.02 mm) and is rated UL94V-0 for flammability. It mates with plug housing part numbers 770016-1 (Universal MATE-N-LOK II) and 350809-1 (Universal MATE-N-LOK), and is commonly used in power circuits for home appliances, particularly gas appliances, where reliable multi-circuit connections are required.
