DESCRIPTION
6-786862-5 is a 50-position panel mount receptacle assembly from the AMPLIMITE .050 Series D-subminiature connector family, designed without rails and featuring unassembled wire lacing termination covers. The connector utilizes a compact .050 x .100 inch (1.27 x 2.54 mm) centerline grid spacing with gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts featuring minimum .000030 inch (0.00076 mm) gold on the mating end and bright tin in the termination area. The housing is constructed from thermoplastic material with 94V-0 flammability rating, while the shell is steel plated with bright nickel over copper. This connector supports 28 AWG (0.08-0.09 mm²) or 30 AWG (0.05 mm²) wire sizes and is ideal for high-density interconnect applications requiring reliable panel-mounted connections.
