DESCRIPTION
The 745820-1 is an AMPLIMITE HD-20 subminiature D-type receptacle connector designed for secure, compact interconnections in electronic assemblies. This full metal-shell straight posted connector features 15 contact positions with a Shell Size 2 configuration, accommodating standard D-type mating interfaces. The connector utilizes phosphor bronze socket contacts with gold plating on the mating end and tin-lead plating on the termination end, with a minimum 0.00127 inch nickel underplate for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. The steel shell is tin-plated, and the insert is constructed from 94V-0 rated thermoplastic material. With clinch nut mounting capability and dimensional specifications of 1.541 inches (39.14 mm) length, 1.312 inches (33.33 mm) width, and 0.494 inches (12.55 mm) depth, this connector is ideal for applications requiring reliable signal transmission in space-constrained environments such as instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and industrial control equipment.
