DESCRIPTION

749193-1 is an AMPLIMITE .050 Series 50-position subminiature D connector backshell assembly designed for high-density interconnect applications. The connector features a straight exit configuration with latches, measuring 1.395 inches (35.43 mm) in length and 1.965 inches (49.91 mm) in overall depth, with a maximum outer diameter of 0.355 inches (9.02 mm). The shell is constructed from steel plated with a tin-nickel alloy over nickel over copper, and the connector accommodates recommended wire sizes of 28 AWG (0.08–0.09 mm²) or 30 AWG (0.05 mm²), solid or 7-strand, with insulation diameter of 0.029–0.036 inches (0.74–0.89 mm). This connector is ideal for SCSI-2, RS-232, and other standard applications requiring reliable, compact interconnections in industrial and telecommunications equipment.
