DESCRIPTION

749202-2 is an unassembled connector backshell kit designed for 50-position AMPLIMITE .050 Series connectors with a 75° cable exit and unkeyed configuration. The kit includes an upper backshell and lower backshell made of zinc with nickel over copper finish, a strain relief staple made of steel with bright tin/lead over nickel finish, two stainless steel spring latches, and two #2-56 UNC x 6.35mm [.250"] machine screws. This kit accommodates a maximum cable diameter of 10.16mm [.400"] and is packaged one kit per bag. It is commonly used in applications requiring secure cable strain relief and connector protection for high-density interconnect systems.
