DESCRIPTION
The 796638-8 is a Euro Style terminal block connector from a product line that includes one-piece board mount blocks and two-piece plug connectors. These blocks are constructed from a halogen-free, self-extinguishing Polyamide 6.6 material rated to UL 94V-0. Key features for the product family include a double captive screw system to prevent lost screws, test probe access on board mount versions, and built-in interlocks that allow stacking without losing centerline spacing. This series is intended for use in a variety of applications, such as industrial controls, HVAC equipment, communications systems, and test and measurement devices.
